POAS VOLCANO,DOKA COFFE ESTATE AND SARCHI ARTS AND GRAFT:
Admire the majestic and imposing Poás Volcano at a height of 2.708m (8.884ft)above sea level. From here you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Central Valley and the volcano*s enormous crater - considered one of the biggest in the world. Next, visit the beautiful coffee plantations at Doka Estate. You will be guided through the estate, visiting the plantations and the 96 year old "beneficio" or coffee mill. Having learned how first choice beans turn into a fabulous cup of java, enjoy a typical Costa Rican lunch. Finish your day shopping at the town of Sarchí, birthhome to all Costa Rican souvenirs and to the construction and painting of typical oxcarts.
